RAHSIA

            Last two weeks, my classmates and I went to Terengganu for the academic trip. Our ex-classmate suggests making our food review at Kitchen Rahsia. Around 8.00 am we arrived at the restaurant, at the same time I’m very hungry and I were excited to eat at Kitchen Rahsia. When I looked at this restaurant I said in my heart “this is not restaurant, it is like warung”. But “don’t judge a book by its cover” this phrase suitable for this restaurant. Why I said that? Because this restaurant may looked like “warung” but the food that they served totally marvelous.
            Before that, Kitchen Rahsia located at the Jalan Budiman a place nearby at Pantai Batu Burok, Kuala Terengganu. It is hard to find this restaurant because located at residential area and no landmark near this restaurant. Furthermore, maximum seating at Rahsia is 50 people at one time. The operation hour from 5.30 pm until 12.00 am and breaks hour 7.00 pm until 8.00 in order to Muslim staff to perform prayer. Kitchen Rahsia opened on Saturday to Wednesday and closed on Thursday to Friday.
            About the food, they served in buffet style because it is suitable for a big group. the menu that they served is Caesar salad, shepherd pie, laksa nyonya, roasted beef, chicken roulade with barbecue and black pepper sauce and kampong fried rice. For dessert have sliced watermelon and brownies with chocolate and caramel sauce. Last but not least the drinks are the tarik and “drebar lori”. The entire menu makes me mouthwatering. The price for buffet is RM25 per person. It is reasonable and affordable price.
            The food that I really like is Caesar salad. Why I said that? It is because when it enter in my mouth, I just like “waaahhhhh” it is very delicious salad that I had eaten. This salad not disappointment me at all. The crunchy and fresh romaine lettuce accompanied with the grill Cajun chicken chunks, herb baguette crouton, parmesan cheese and Caesar dressing.  The price for a la catre is RM8.50 only. About the drink “drebar lori”, it is combination of “mata kucing” and “longan”. I drank this much time because it is give me freshness. The reason why called “debar lori” because usually driver lorry will request this drink said Mr. Taufiq owner of Kitchen Rahsia. The cost for this drink is RM4.
            Overall, I really satisfied with the foods that they served to us and the services. I totally recommend this Kitchen Rahsia for those are looking western dish at Kuala Terengganu. It is very suitable for family and group even couple. They also a la carte menu offers. I will come again and craving for more dishes from Kitchen Rahsia.
